very nice, i like the second shot, the Rokinon 85/1.4 is manual focus only right ?

Thank you! That's correct, manual focus and manual aperture, all my the lenses I use for my 6D at the moment are, including the Tamron 70-150/3.5 which was used to capture the second shot you mentioned ;)

Here's a couple more from the Rokinon (I hope you guys aren't getting sick of all these Aerial Dance shots, I've got a bunch of car shots coming in the near future ;))

Action-type shots anyone?

With only one cross-type AF point...
Are the outer points weak(?)...anyone have any problems with this body nailing focus using those outer points?

Or are most folks just using the center AF point and focus/re-composing?

Thanks for your comments!

For action I typically just use the center point unless I know for sure the action will be on one side of the frame or other. I just got my 6d a few weeks ago so my 1d3 has languished in the bag while I play with the 6d. Here are a couple soccer shots (kind of harsh lighting and heavy crops with minimal post processing). I was mostly just goofing off playing with my old 300L that I haven't used in a while because it always seems soft on my 1d3.

It has some very positive aspects relative to my 1d3 but the AF is noticeably slower and it isn't 10 fps. :) It wouldn't bother me much to use it though if my 1d3 is in the shop because I love the files.

I bought a small table from ikea for only $10 just to do product shots and it's really great for how much it costs. Didn't want to do anything too technical so just took this to test out what I could achieve.

Tried some sports photos with my brand new 6D today. I have "downgraded" and sold my 3 1D cameras (II N, III and IV) and replaced them with a 6D. Not the fastest AF but I can easily get photos not requiring fast AF.

I love that the 6D has breathed new life into the nifty-fifty! The 50mm f1.8 would constantly focus-hunt on my 50D in bright daylight. Not so the case on this body! The focus is a little soft on this image but I was in a moving boat and in near complete darkness!

Should've stopped down the lens more for this shot, was in the middle of the street though so I needed to keep moving as you can see by the sign

The ISO performance of this camera is so awesome. I set up my C2 dial as a manual mode with Auto ISO on. Instead of using a flash for fill, I just let the camera adjust the ISO.

I've never really used Auto ISO before on any other camera, but with this beast I have full confidence in the quality if it needs to boost it up a few stops. So cool.
