The ISO performance of this camera is so awesome. I set up my C2 dial as a manual mode with Auto ISO on. Instead of using a flash for fill, I just let the camera adjust the ISO.

I've never really used Auto ISO before on any other camera, but with this beast I have full confidence in the quality if it needs to boost it up a few stops. So cool.

Music to my ears.

Lucas...are you finding yourself only using the CENTER AF POINT(?)
and focus/re-compose as well?

I'm concerned with me shooting say a 50/1.4 wide open that it may be difficult nailing focus and re-composing because of the very thin DOF?

What you say my friend?

Thanks!

I want so bad this 6d because of it's size for travel assignments...(2) 6d's is a lot less weight/mass to travel with than (2) 5dmk3's:lol:

Flickr changed the layout not long ago but all the EXIF is somewhere on the right side of the photo.

I got my 6D this week and I love it! If sports is the main photo object I´d recommend spending the money on a second hand 1D III or IV. If you want a camera for allround-use with some occasional Sports Photo, the 6D produces amazing file quality and you can twist and turn on the RAW-files in all directions without loosing quality (Compared to 1D and 7D) ISO is not possible to compare with any of those cameras.

live 500km above the arctic circle so high ISO and large apertures is almost mandatory during the dark winter (24H darkness) Now it´s sunshine all the time until August, but when the dark winter comes I will pair the 6D with a few f1.4 primes and I look forward to winter-photos this year :)

I no longer have any autofocus lenses for my 6d, only manual focus ;) But, I never had/have an issue with using any of the focus points with AF lenses. I use my friend's and father's lenses fairly often and never have any issues with them with the outer points. Much of the negative word on the 6D's AF system is overblown, it works just fine.

Yashica ML 50/1.4, first one is at ISO16,000, second is at ISO10,000 no NR for either

This one was zone focused from the hip at f/2... starting to get the hang of it :)

I use the outer points frequently on my 6D and never have an issue!
