I am not a purist by any stretch of the imagination, but I do like to use stuff from the same setting in the shots I do composites on. But as you mention, no one would know if you put a supermoon from this last weekend on a shot from last year or any other date. So really, it does not matter. Good call. Charlie wrote in post #17034041 Well on the flip side, why does the location of where I took the shot of the moon matter? the moon will look the same regardless of where I shoot it from.
