We got some snow here in Switzerland on Saturday. Today was a great day in the Swiss Alps.

I have a question, how did all of you make your watermarks? I've been struggling to make one I didn't hate for my photos so I could put them up on my facebook.

I just made my watermark in Lightroom, its quick and easy if you just want words, pm me if you want a more in depth explanation!

I'm in the process of figuring out an image to add to mine.

Something I have noticed from photos posted online and looking at test comparisons of various Canon cameras.

It seems as if the 6D has much more balanced color tones across the whole spectrum. I never really see any one color get blown out like I could using the 5D2. Even the 5D3 seems to suffer from a little color bias.

I rather like the look of the 6D images and how much less "digital" they look and just more realistic. Maybe similar to that of the 1Ds3.

Hey, quick question. I can't find any info on the WiFi signal distance for smartphones.

Does anyone have an idea of how far away you can connect?

30 meters (see gray comparison box 6D vs 5D3: *click (external link)*).

Cool. Thanks for the info. That's about what we get out of our home wireless network, so I guess that 30m is pretty good for a little camera!

I wonder if I could use some sort of mobile hotspot device which is battery powered to bridge any longer distances?

Yeah, I was surprised to see someone would actually post something like that... The camera is very new too, so he can't possibly expect as many quality pics as from... idk... the 5Dc thread.

I'm very impressed with many of the pictures in this thread. Please keep them coming everyone.

Nah man, not the best way to start your time on this forum. Wasn't even constructive criticism, just trolling. Better to start by asking or answering questions, or better yet, just posting your own pictures.

Once more...Alex_Mk3 is the right example of good samples to show to all of us.

My point is...expensive machine is really matter to get good pictures ?

PS: dont delete this time please. i just want to debate with all

Hi folks. Anyone has a link explaining, or showing, what differences might be seen between the different RAW resolutions and where each of them would be of best use? I just use the full-RAW setting but I may just be unnecessarily using up more space than necessary.

Thanks

This thread is for the posting of photos captured with the 6D and for comments on the images with the goal of helping all to become better photographers and get more out of their equipment.

This is not a debate platform to be used to berate photographers or images because they do not measure up to some standard.
