Im having a issue with my cf cards. If i use a cand in my 50d and then put it in my 7d , the card reads as bad, and camera says card needs formating. Even when i reformat, they will not work in the 7d. Any idea why?

You may have to first format the card in a computer and then format it again in the second camera.

Another good argument for SDHC!

I would try and format in the computer. then format in each camera.

it could also be the brand of card. I have heard of instances where cards wont work correctly with some cameras

What is a "cand"?

My imagine composition sucks. I need a heavier lens.
