I have a Meade DS-2114 Newtonian Reflector telescope and am trying to figure out how to hook my T2i to it. Anyone know what I need and how I do it? I know that I need a T-ring adapter for the camera...

How does it work? I'm a little confused about how it's done and how it works.... do you use eye pieces? If so how?

Any info would be greatly appreciated. I have had the scope for quite some time, so I figured that I'd give it a try for photos. My expectations are not high, but I have it so I might as well try it.

Thanks

Put up some pictures of it. From what I've found on the net, it looks like you just put 1.25 inch eyepiece in it.

To use your camera you will need a t-ring then a adapter that will go into a 1.25 in eyepiece hole

T-ring

And this threads into the t-ring

You can use eyepieces in a "projection adapter" like this. you can vary the magnification with this. However you will start losing quality because you are adding glass to the light path.

http://agenaastro.com (external link) has pretty much any adapter you may need.
