I've been visiting this for a while...taking shots of the outside...

It is an old power station from the 20's...

The City Council were going to sell it to be knocked down, but a bunch of volunteers have been restoring the building and the engines (can be run now)...

So, I decided to contact the council to see if i could get access...

Really great set, although a little repetitive for the forum.
I work in maintenance for an industrial manufacturing facility so it is great to see the inside of such a place, especially in this cleaned up condition.

And right here is the reason you should learn to edit your shots before you post here, so you can provide eight, interesting, non-repetitive, photos and stay within Pekka's Image Posting Rules (see link in my signature). You are not exempt from these rules. Several Moderators have deleted posts containing excess images since you can't take a hint when we convert the excess to links (and tell you so, as well as why).

Supply eight shots and lure people to your site if they want to see more; it's a win-win since once they've visited your site they may just come back on a regular basis.

While i am happy to comply with your rules...it would be nice if you didn't come over quite so heavy handed about it...especially when i can find (after just a brief look)a member on here with 40 pictures in just 4 pages of a particular thread...and no, i don't see where any of them were asked for, or used as a lens test...

Not arguing, just saying...cheers.

Also, i don't, and don't want to, 'lure' anyone to 'my site' as i don't have one (unless you call flickr a site, but to me, it's just somewhere to stick a whole bunch of pictures).

Anyway, i get 6 more images...right?
