I tried CS6 at my school this weekend on some panorama shots with my tokina 11-16. It was incredible how well Camera Raw was able to correct my images in terms of distortion and slight vignetting before I stitched my panoramic image. I was so impressed that I was ready to go back to my school and take a bunch of my macro images for correction but then I realized that the lens profiles may not apply accurately to a reversed lens. The lens I use for macro is a reversed 28mm SMC Pentax-A f/2.8. I am aware that adobe has a profile for this old lens but I do not want to go to the trouble of downloading it to one of the computers at my university without knowing if it will work properly. Does anyone have experience using profiles with a reversed lens?
