I am looking for a vintage or fully manual kit lens that ranges 10mm-50mm Any suggestions. I have found a few 18-28mm but I really would like to hit the 50mm mark or near it if it is possible. On the wide end 10-18mm is fine I am just having trouble finding anything.

It's going to be really tough to find any fully manual lenses in those focal length ranges. The reason is that most lenses in the 10-xx range were designed for the APS-C format digital cameras. Prior to digital SLRs coming on the market, the shortest focal length I am aware of was 16mm. Even those were auto-focusing lenses. Prior to the age of auto-focusing, I'm not aware of any rectilinear (non-fisheye) lenses for 35mm film cameras that were shorter than about 20mm.

What Skip said. Plus, there were not a lot of optically very good zoom lenses when you go back more than 20 years or so. So a vintage zoom is probably going to be kind of a dud.

How true. Back in 1967, I bought two Nikon F cameras and wanted a zoom lens but could find none that came anywhere close to the quality of the four fixed focal length Nikkor lenses I bought and used heavily for many years (28, 50, 105, and 300mm).

By the way - the Nikkor lenses work great on my EOS cameras with a simple adapter. I still have both camera bodies and all the lenses and accessories that I bought way back then.

Yes this would be a great lens but it certainly breaks the $100 barrier
