I really like the way you controlled the shutter speed and aperture to maintain isolation of the birds head, body, legs and those talons for sharp crips focus, while allowing the wings to go progressively out of focus due to the DOF and slower SS. To me this conveys the birds motion and intent more clearly and creates a more beautiful outcome than a typical panning shot. Sorry for the run off. -Slice
