Found a bug. A pretty, purple-blue beetle of some sort, on the floor in my kitchen(!).

Went to get my gear.

Came back, and the kids had fed it to the cat!

Next time, the bug's going WITH me to get my gear.

Maybe next time you could send your kids for you gear so you can keep an eye on the bug, LOL, although if it was either of my sons they would bring a zoom and not a macro and I would go get it myself and then they would feed the bug to the cat. LOL
