Thanks for the kind words. Got most of these driving around in my truck with a bean bag.
The Spoonbill is an endangered species. As well as the Milky stork. This location is one of the best places to see these guys. The main reason for me being here this year. Leam Phak Bia, Thailand. On the salt pans.
Enjoying retirement and shooting daily.
Hope everyone has a happy holiday season.
Gary

Flo, that is the best bi line I have seen lately. Got a good laugh and will remember it always.... :)

Excellent set of images, Gary. My favourite is the Caspian Tern shot. That is such a lovely image. Runner up for me is the BCNH; a great in-flight shot that.

That is a superb series Gary. The Black crowned night heron in flight is my favourite. Only the second in flight shot (and the best) of that species I've ever seen.

Excellent shots, some of the best I have seen in a while. It is so great to see these
new species (to us in the US anyway.)

The colors are excellent and the composition is perfect. Well done!!

Yowzers, a terrific set Gary with a great variety. I have never seen one of those spoon-billed sanpipers before, what an interesting beak they have.

Thanks again for the kind words.
Levina, that is my favorite shot also. The salt pans here are just a few cm. deep and great for taking these shots.
I use a 500mm IS and a 300mm IS. Easy to travel with is the reason I shoot these two lenses.
Thanks for the comment.
