What I did is first open Elements by itself, leave it open, go to LR and then select the "Edit in elements" selection and now it will open the file in Elements. Don't know why but that should work, kinda clunky but it works. yes, make sure you are calling "PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe", and not "PhotoshopElements.exe" which calls the front panel where you can choose to organize or edit. EOS 6d, 7dMKII, Tokina 11-16, Tokina 16-28, Sigma 70-200mm F/2.8, Sigma 17-50 F/2.8, Canon 24-70mm F/2.8L, Canon 70-200 F/2.8L, Mixed Speedlites and other stuff.

Preeb Goldmember  More info | I've read this before and always been mystified, as mine has always just worked like it's supposed to. I've never had to jump through any hoops or done anything but just set it in the Preferences. LR4.2, Elements 10 and Win 7 64. Rick

When my laptop was stolen and I had to replace it, the first thing I installed on it was LR4. I still had no trouble in preferences getting it to work seamlessly with PSE 10. I don't remember if I had to go out and find Elements or not, because I have to change the default settings from 16 bit to 8 bit for PSE. When I choose Edit In, it starts PSE and then opens the image. Don't know if it matters, but I always open RAW images as .psd in Elements. Rick
