A few days after Thanksgiving, I captured this inflight Bald Eagle shot along a harbor of Lake Superior.

Love it when the light is right and the sky is blue, Dave. Great shot.

A beauty, Dave. But one question-was there a reason you centered the eagle? Just curious.

Hi Rog.... thanks for the comments, good to hear from you.

On this bird in flight, I tried to put the viewers eye on the entirety of the eagle... I know many adhere to the "rule" of space in front or the direction the bird is flying... I wanted the wonderful light ( which is as Al knows, doesn't happen much up here in Nov.) and eye detail along with all the feathers being in almost perfect focus to maintain the "center of interest."

Not your usual suspect, Dave, but very well caught! And I too envy you that blue sky. :)
