The ones online are like $30-$40 each for the canon ones, are these third party places that sell these that work the same. I'm going to use the hoods as protections so no soft ones.

Jan 03, 2006 16:16 | #2 I did the search for 3rd party hoods for my 70-300 and 17-85 and found only metal screw in's or soft rubber. I decided that if I was going to spend the money for the lenses, I'd spend the money for the proper lens hood.
