First Snow Fall

I was visiting family in Montreal and this was the first snowfall for this year. She lived a few houses down from my brother and I think was upset that we did not bring carrots. Converted to B&W using Topaz. Just a snapshot of a horse.

I like this. Simple composition, good isolation, the flakes are blurred a bit to indicate the action of the snowfall, horse is making eye contact, and black & white is a plus instead of the standard color shot that everyone else would post up.

I like this, maybe if you had of repositioned yourself to take the tree away from her head you could have isolated her a bit more.

Crop the left side to the edge of the tree.

I like the image. I believe it would be improved without the tree but cropping it will not resolve that issue, I like the crop as is. Image is crisp, there is pretty good separation, the light works nicely, the conversion is good, and the horse appears to be looking at you. Nice job.

Good pic, love the eye contact and the horse really pops out.

I really this one. Great b&w xfer and the background really adds to the overall feel of the image. Nice work.
