Well i finally pulled my finger out and returned to the lovely Forth Bridges today, with some slightly dissapointing results. However, they have topped the last trip so its not all bad. All comments, good or bad welcome.

Thanks for looking
Adrian

no1 this time adrian for me ive never been a big fan of landscape photographs taken in portrait style
It leaves me feeling as if the composition is a little too tight but thats just my opinion for what its worth

I agree that number 1 is the pick of the trio John. Ive never thought about portrait landscape shots in that way but i can understand your point of view. Thanks for the comments though mate. Also, out of curiosity, where in south west scotland are you?

I don`t get you Adrian,is it the movement of the bridge you are refering to?

It was more the lighting that i was dissapointed with. Plus the Bridge really isnt as sharp as i was hoping for this time around. Though i must say i was pleasently surprised by the co-operative swans.

There you go , et least you didn`t have everything against you.;)
The bridge though looks like motion blur , was it windy?

Actually no. As far as i could tell it was completly still. The tripod was sturdy, not using the centre column or anything which is why i was a little dissapointed. The lens usually gives pretty crisp results. Strange, i may have nudged it holding the remote though.

Anyway, heres a new take on the second incase any one is interested.

Im guessing no one likes the black and white shot? I was a little unsure of it myself.
