Well, I just called canon parts and they said the parts have been discontinued. Which means, a) dude totally did not know what I meant, or b) they have stopped production of the mt-24ex. I think it is more a case of A) than B). I'm in Canada. Isn't that weird!

I have one of the ebay gorrilla type mounts but with the mpe it just takes too long to get it adjusted
