Okay. The individual flash heads from the MT-24EX have a metal 1/4-20 thread in the base and they fit into a hot/cold shoe mount.

Well, I just called canon parts and they said the parts have been discontinued. Which means, a) dude totally did not know what I meant, or b) they have stopped production of the mt-24ex.

I think it is more a case of A) than B).


I'm in Canada. Isn't that weird!

I have been looking for one too for the past year, and went through the same run around with canon. It is really disappointing that they have so little support for this product. If anyone finds a good alternative please post up. I have one of the ebay gorrilla type mounts but with the mpe it just takes too long to get it adjusted
