I saw a youtube video where a guy showed and told why he used his E-TTL flash in manual mode, can't find it now, but it got me wondering if the YN560II will work with the YN565EX in manual mode, I think the YN 560II can be set up (settings) like the YN565EX. Manual will work for me, I don't plan on doing photography for money it's just a hobby, so I guess I don't need the camera talking to the flash units automatically and probably didn't really need the YN565EX to begin with.

So it was still a good investment. The 560 is a value for a second flash if you want to work in manual mode. Unless you want one of your flashes to be in the hotshoe you still need a triggering method. Look at the yn rf603

Look at the yn rf603 Thanks, I found this setup the flash has a built in trans/reciever and in the other link could use the kit for two more flashes.

Just get the canon one, the actual model is irrelevent.

Thanks Gonzogolf, I have never played around with a better on camera flash before, so I took the camera with the Sunpack on it and went outside and took some snap shots and it's a whole lot better than the pop up and took some of the woods line at our property line and it sure made the trees show a lot more detail too.
