Feedback appreciated, indoors with ambient and fill flash but didnt note any settings - must learn to do this huh ?

Maybe the focus points settings are off. Astrophotography,Fishing

I worked with the image and got the eyes looking alot better (IMHO) with some USM, but the harsh edges of the cut-out made it difficult to sharpen the rest of the picture, particularily at low resolution.
