Do you know what it is

Hi, I am in South Africa - KwaZulu Natal, Midlands and saw a raptor sitting on a branch. Problem - the distance to the bird. First shot shows a 100% crop. We kept an eye on it and after a while it flew up and came in closer. The second shot is also a crop, but with more detail.

We stayed while trying different options to get closer. The bird took off and landed further away again. I decided to hang around and soon after that a male arrived Luckily I had my 40D on "H" and took a few pictures. Everything was over in about 5 frames.

Is it a Wahlberg's Eagle?

I suspect it is, but the notes I have on the Wahlberg's Eagle says it has a crested crown. A small crest. The photos on the Internet shows a black or grey bill.

I don't see a crest and the bill is all yellow, but my take on it is that it could be a Wahlberg's Eagle, because they come in different colour schemes. The size and other features of this one match that of the Wahlberg's Eagle. Hence the question - what is it?

It's a Yellow-billed Kite. Very nice shots!
