Though not a great photo but thought this may be of interest. The Broken Spectre is caused buy a low sun casting ones shadow onto low lying mist when stood on a ridge. The rings are caused by the sun refracting off the water droplets in the mist. People used to think they were Ghosts, named after Mr Broken who first described them many years ago.

Good shot, but its subject amazes me. I've never seen nor heard of that.
