Had a family session that included this brother and sister. Looking for some C&C please. They do seem to lose a little clarity from my computer to photobcket to here. Thanks.

Sharpness notwithstanding (I know compression sucks), these are pretty good shots. Your lighting looks very nice. Your white balance is inconsistent, though. Some appear a little too yellow, while others are a bit too magenta. The crops on the girl are a bit too tight for me. Her expression in the last one is nice, but your camera was a bit too low in the 3rd, giving her eyes that half-closed look.

All-in-all, a good session. The white balance issues are easily fixed in post if you shot in RAW.

1 - Out of focus. Lighting isn't bad, but composition isn't that good. Neck seemingly coming out of the side of the frame. Subject not connecting with the camera or anything else. What's the background? All the rest seem outdoor.

2 - Also looks a bit out of focus. Underexposed a bit and could use more light in the eyes.

3 - Out of focus. Hair is a bit wild here. The color doesn't look balanced on the face and the background. It looks odd. Almost like the subject is lit too much by artificial light vs. the background. The face is underexposed as well.

4 - Suffers similar problems as 3 and I don't care for chopping her head off where you did. As in 3 there are some harsher shadows due to the way you used your light.

The first is the best of the four images but is a bit out of focus. White balance and underexposure problems in all images as well. The hair coming across the left cheek in four should be removed.

Keep trying and posting, that's how we all get better.

My sister, the professional baker and cake decorator once told me that my camera takes great pics. My reply was that I thought her oven baked great cakes.

Thank you all for the great comments. I appreciate the attention to detail as well. I kick myself for missing some of the obvious stuff!
