I was recently contacted (two days ago) by a friend of mine that needs photographs of their book for a brochure that she is designing. She'll be using it for her own business and giving one out and the rest will be for internal use.

This is all the info that she gave me.
There hasn't been a price negotiated yet since im still trying to find out more info but what i'm wondering is should their be a release form for this?
Its my first time doing anything like this and ive been trying to do some research but any help is appreciated!
We're scheduled to shoot tomorrow and i'd like to have a release from ready if possible.

It would be up to your friend (who is publishing the brochure) to have any release forms in place that need to be. As the photographer, all you should have to do for a project like this is show up and create the desired images. Of course, having a well spelled out agreement (or contract) is definitely a good plan.

Some documents that may be relevant here:

1) an invoice listing your contact info, the total fee, the usage details, the nature of your work
2) a contract specifying the usage details (how the image will be used in terms of both time / size etc.) and also indicating the fee--to be signed by both parties

If the image is going to be part of a brochure, it seems to me that there won't really be any issues in terms of print shops requiring a 'release' for the individual images.
