As the title suggests, I'm in the process of creating a blog that operates on the zenfolio platform. Obviously there are limitations associated with this (I can't really move things to where I'd like them; I'm stuck with the menu header), but the following is where I'm currently at: http://www.christopherstevenb.com/blog (external link)

My own critique is:
1) the header is just massive. I'm not sure just how this is a problem other than the fact that most headers are much more narrow
2) there is no introductory text or text on the page saying exactly what I do
3) I'm not quite satisfied with the font choices--or at least how they appear on my setup.
4) this is more of a critique of my site overall, but there's no 'about me' I felt like a well done blog might be a replacement for this.

Any suggestions as to what can be added / replaced / subtracted / adjusted would be very much welcome.

thanks !

I have been using Zenfolio (http://jocabphoto.com (external link)) since 2009 and have had my blog long before 'blogging' was even an activity (http://ocabj.net (external link)), say around 1999.

Even when Zenfolio added blogging capabilities, I still stuck with my own webhost (running Wordpress).

Wordpress is just far too advanced and support to bother using Zenfolio's blogging features.
