i like the processing, the arm protruding into her isn't great, but not much you could do with it

No, sorry. If you are going to isolate a player like this, they need to be only thing in frame. Protrudung elbow kills it. I'd also prefer to see all or more of her face. Not too ken on the framing treatment either, but if you dress it up with a name/number/ team name etc., it could work well.

Totally agree. If you're going for isolation, isolate them. They CAN be framed though IMO and it still works, like the second photo. There's an elbow, like yours, but his face is not blocked by the ball or his own arm. Try shooting from the other side. If you shoot a right-handed shooter from their right side, arm is in the way most of the time.

agree
problems

ft have guys everywhere
basically arms shoulders heads
and you may not be able to shoot straight on

if possible with 300-400 lens shoot high

just a thought
prob wrong

and since they moved the block guy up there are more bodies in the way

Thanks for the comments. I guess I actually prefer her peering over the ball, just my preference, I have various isolation shots, but I always feel it looks like just someone standing there. I could get those while they are warming up. I feel this at least gives the appearance it is during a game. But I do understand what you are saying.

Not a fan of the selective color processing at all, especially since some of her is in color and some isn't. Can't see her face, elbow cutting in, weird frame around the photo
