I hope you have luck finding them...it will allow you to look thru his eyes...My grandmother was my photographic inspiration..she always had a camera in her hands ...left me 50 trays of slides to maintain when she went ...I have taken a number of years to clean them up and scan them and distribute them to family members...and everyone I look at I see what she was seeing and try and understand what was on her mind...we had a great connection, she knew exactally what she was doing when she left them for me...fortunatly she had 85 years to get them in order..now the camera doesn't go to my eye without thinking of her
