Low Key Lighting Experiment

Trying to get the hang of using my speedlite 430EX ii, using my Heeler mix Rocky. Really, the learning is trying to get the camera focused, making sure he stays and going to turn off the light. I still have a lot of room for improvement, I know. Critiques are welcome

Me too, I had to hold my hand up to make him think I had something. He was getting bored and kept laying his head down, I love his eyes though when he does it just right. He's either very submissive or he can look very intense.
