BigValueInc is not authorized and Canonrumors.com has no connection to Canon, Inc. Canonrumors is where the ad appears. 2. The practice of bait and switch is obvious though most shoppers who go for an item this expensive will not come forward. The Sq.Trade whatever is a cash warranty. If Canon decides not to honor the warranty BigValueInc claims is legitimate than you have to protect yourself with the SqTrade warranty. And you'd have to be doubly sure SqTrades includes the first yr. Most warranties cover after the end of the manufacturer's warranty expires. A two yr. warranty starts after the Canon one year and lasts for one year. So while the camera may be American made buying the optional warranty brings the price right back up. There have been reports of pressure tactics for add-ons like $250 for a 32GB SD card. Caveat emptor. So what are you saying exactly?? This is a bait and switch scam? Proudly Australian Made!!

Yes, I bought a lens or two and some other things from them without issues. I think their products are as described. However, their exchange and return period is shorter than Adorama or B&H, so I tend to buy only things with less probability of being defect, so I less likely to return them. I missed the 2500$ 5dmkiii sale but I would buy the camera in a heartbeat from them. The thing is the chance that your new camera being defective is very small (compared to lenses) and if your camera having an issue after a month, you will be dealing with Canon, not the retailer. It is worth saving 200-300$ in this case. Thanks for that input vaflower - good info GEAR LIST

I got my 5d3 from them for $2499 on black friday, came in a kit box without the lens but with a warranty card. They took a while to ship but I think that was because of the flood of orders. I'd buy another one of these if I had the $$ Website
