I sold mine for $775.00 on ebay a few months ago. That did not include shipping.

check completed auctions on ebay for an idea of what the lens is worth. or start the auction at say $5 and in seven days you'll know exactly what it is worth.

I would strongly urge you to pass on eBay.. It's a scammer's paradise, and they come out big time for camera gear. Why not sell it here? At the least you'd save on eBay fees (which are ridiculous anyway).

good luck...i wouldn't take a lack of bidding as meaning anything...a person will bid in the beginning thinking they may score a deal...but most real bidders will wait until the last 15 minutes...

If you can cancel it (maybe say it's defective or something) I'd do that.. eBay is just nothing but trouble.

If there are bids and you retract a listing on eBay, you may end up paying the 9% fee unless this is your first listing of the year.

I think he might have to pay the listing fee, which should be small enough that a sale on the forum her will cover it and be profitable from the eBay, and if bought through PayPal, PayPal fee.
