One of the hardest hit towns by Hurricane Sandy. Thanks for looking.

Yeah, a mess x 10! Hey, are they currently allowing photographers in the areas hit by Sandy? I know its a free place to roam, but with all the clean up going on and concerns for looting... didnt know if they were discouraging photographers from outside from coming in to take pics. Trying to be respectful...

Most of the towns ( all the barrier islands) are closed off. I.D required with permit, for residents only.. Strict curfew.. Many places are just impossible to get to still. Clean up is insane.

That half-house is one of the most photographed structures damaged by Sandy. I've seen quite a few images of it including on the cover of the last printed issue of Newsweek.

The other highly shot structure is the roller coaster that now sits in the ocean. Unreal devastation.

Crap, what a mess!! That shows the stark reality of the damage and heartache it has caused. Good luck, you guys sure need it.

M- six, you're right. There are iconic photos emerging from this storm. It's all good. Some incredible images have been produced in these terrible times.
