Those are the awesome-est braces I've ever seen!! The headgear for them have got to be out of this world.

Nice B&W photo too but seeing your left eye would have been a plus.

I'd use something other than the on camera flash. The lighting angle doesn't work too well. A less cluttered backdrop would help, and the hat could work if it didn't cast such a hard shadow on your face. With the new flash coming you should have alot better luck bouncing it off the ceiling. Still, it's a nice shot, and I like the expression

I agree with elTwitcho about lightning,ando also IMO focus is in the wrong place, until it's authors idea!)Still great capture!
