Picked up a new 50mm f1.4 today but didn't have time to test it out until it was dark out so I made do playing indoors. My 6 month old is gesturing his gums are sore (2+ months of teething and still no teeth) but he's still a good sport ;)
I wanted to see what it would do wide open at a low ISO. A little brightening and a tad sharpening helped. I think I'm going to enjoy getting to know this lens :D Comments, suggestions?

ISO 100, f/1.4, 1/60

Great capture and he is adorable. I too would like to see it without the yellow cast.

Great shot!!! Ditto on the yellow cast. Did you shot this in RAW? Maybe adjust the color temp.

I hope you don't mind a little medaling with you shot. Here it is with some curve adjustment with red and green. It looked better in CS2 before the reduction, better skin tone and BG tone.

Great shot. I can sympathize with you as my little one is also teething. She is 8 1/2 months old now with no teeth yet but we think they are close.

Thanks for all the comments.
Kev - don't mind the edit at all & nice job. I came down with a cold yesterday but managed to concentrate on some PS time with this today.
Here's my colour-edited version. Contemplating vengering outside to play with the 50mm but it's cold, wet & I feel miserable so maybe I'll stay put :(

Looks good Lindsey. For some reason my JPG file looked much richer in PS.Having to drop the dpi to get it posted lost some color and snap. But looks like you are good with PP. Your boy is so cute and you have a great capture here.
