60D and Nissin Di622 MKII HELP

I really dont use flash but I'm trying to learn. I have a 60D and a Nissin Di622 MKII. How do I get it to work in ETTL? Also, please post any pointers if you have this setup, thanks.

turning on the flash unit should put it in ettl. A no light LED means its in ettl, red is manual mode, green is Manual slave mode for optical trigger with an ettl flash, blue is manual slave mode for optical trigger for other manual mode flashes, purple is wireless mode

Thanks man you just got me out of a hole for some reason i thought that i had to choose a mode (red,blue,green,purple​) to fire the flash on camera didn't think about no light on !!
