Well finally went on my first photo shoot today with Sheila...It went really well, considering this was her and my first time doing this...She was great to work with andI learned alot already...
Here's just a few from the shoot..These were shot with the Xsi, the 50mm 1.8 lens and a reflector using natural light...Even tho this was my first time, I think I could of done alot better, so I'll take all the cc I can get guys...I need it...Thanks for looking :)

1 - is cool, but you got the background blown out..nit picks would be to hide her other heel behind her back, its a bit distracting and image could use some skin post processing to sooth and brighten her face..
2 - posing is good, just the tree in the background is a bit distracting... you must have used the gold side of the reflector, the warm tone on her face is not balanced with overall image... Could use some mask layers and warm up the background, this is a good shot and she is beautiful.

3 - same as above, tree looks like its coming out of her chest, but you got the light balanced... you got some odd crops goin on. stick with basic even cropping. Looks like your freehanding the crop.

4 - posing is not for her. Doesnt look natural and it does not compliment her body type. Reflector on left side of her face would have evened out the natural light... Looks a bit dark on that side.

5 - this one is my personal fav, natural smile and looks relaxed. The 2 things that I would have done differently is not have her arm lifted, it looks like she was starting to sweat, you can fix that with post processing and I would have shot her with the natural parting of her hair line.

6 - same as 4.. would have had her turn her waist more to slim her out and use reflector to bounce light into dark side of her body. She is facing straight forward which i think is no bueno for her body type.

I think you did overall good for your first shoot and by all means keep shooting!!!! Next time try putting your camera settings for each image... I got a posing guide that you can check out.. Do you want to peep it out?
