Obviously, I'm very much a fish out of water in this section of POTN, but I had a chance to do a little stroll on Mill Avenue in Tempe, AZ on 12-9-12 and manage to gather the following.

Nice shots, Jay. I'm with Rick, I like the PP on these shots.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

That is quite an interesting street set Jay. I'd love to know the story behind the first one haha

The Leader Of The Pack: Haha...this one took me a second to pick up on; good find :)

Traveling Conversation: Interesting subjects, but the framing seems a bit off to the side and feels a little...cramped, to me.

Playing The Quarter Slots:
I like the idea here, but the kid is to low and center, IMO. I was more drawn to the fact that the adults look like they're going to collide or something. Being a kid, this would be better if shot from lower with the kid more prominent in the frame, IMO.

Won't You Let Me Take You On A Sea Cruise?
Honestly, this one just doesn't quite do it for me. Without the accompanying title, this one just wouldn't make much sense to me.

His Barks Are Worse Than His Bike
I love this kind of ingenuity; great catch...saw a man on a bicycle carrying two refrigerators this way in Shanghai once. :D

An UnCommon Wealth...
Good, strong image here. Love the focus and contrast on the bottles here and the feel of the image.

Very cute; great "people" shot there.

Thank You for the very comprehensive breakdown Eric! Exactly what I was hoping to hear from those who shoot this genre far more than I do.

Thanks Chris! That was a good time! We'll definitely find somewhere else to wander. Might need a Jerome fix soon!
