Looking for decent strap

I need to get a non-stock strap and I've come across the Crumpler Industry Disgrace. Then I found the awesome Canon CPS straps but those are hard to find and probably a little more than I want to pay. I'm just looking for something comfortable and the cheaper the better of course.

Anyone recommend the I.D. or is there something out there I haven't seen yet?

I have a Domke and Crumpler Industry Disgrace. Both very good straps, but take a look at Luma. They make an awesome quality product. Far beyond anything I've ever used. You can use it as a traditional strap, but also comes with a tripod mount ring as well.

The tripod mount is out of the question since I use my tripod a lot as well.

I don't use the tripod mount. Instead, I attach one side of the strap to my Arca Swiss plate. OpTech makes a decent product, but I have found that the edges of the neoprene shoulder pad tend to fray easily.

You'll need to ask yourself some basic questions. The answers to those questions will tell you what type of strap you should look at.

1. What type of lens do you normally carry on your camera? Weight, length?
2. How long do you carry the camera before using it, putting it down or resting?
3. Do you tend to carry your camera across the chest, on a shoulder or around your neck?
4. What material do you prefer? Leather, neoprene (spongy), canvas/cloth?

Spend the money and get the Crumpler Industry Disgrace. It is comfortable and it works. Considering what we spend on camera gear and the hours we carry it around - it is money well spent!

Crumpler Industry Disgrace is really comfy to use.

Another vote for the Industry Disgrace. Like it very much.

OpTech neoprene are very comfortable and there are no buckles to scratch the camera. They can also cope with a lot of weight - ID + 100-400. I haven't had a problem with fraying and have been using the strap for more than 18 months

I have chosen Wapiti.
Domke Gripper for many years.
Black Rapid...no more.

I'm kind of liking this one due to the quick connect and I think I can use this as a sling or hanging in front

Crumpler disgrace as well. Cannot stress how comfortable the strap is. a+++

+1 again for the Industry Disgrace.

Only thing I didn't like was that there was no quick release to take the strap off since I don't like it on while it's on my tripod.

Easy solution though.
