This really started off as a bit of a muck around in PS, adding some wind generators, etc, etc however I would like to get people opinions on which shot is best from a composition point of view. The first is the original and the second is cropped. Thanks.

I kind of like the cropped version, but the power lines on the left take something away from the picture. Maybe clone them out??

My vote goes to ....... #2! The cropping makes more of an impression.

I'll second getting rid of the power lines. Also to make it a little more life like I would adjust the blade angle on some of the generators. In real life all the blades on that many towers would not be pointing in exactly the same direction. There are only two that are not the same as the others.

Picky I know:D

Thanks everyone for the feedback, I'll try a few alternatives and adjust the position of the rotors. Cheers. Simon.

#2 for sure. But my question is, you say you added generators, not sure what that means, is this a totally "composed" image? The reason I as is that I believe it would look much better with less "clutter" of turbines. Even if this is real, I'd still suggest cloning out a few (or all) of the second tier from the front. This starkness would play better with the open field. And please DO NOT clone out the power lines, they are an integral part of this image.

Nice work!
