Rick's 37 Chevy PickUp has a 350cid engine running 11:1 compression. It has a 350 trans, & 10-bolt 4.56 rear end. For four months, in his spare time after work, he took it down to bare metal & restored it. He's had it for 1 year.

Four months in his spare time after work, huh? That's pretty fast. When my dad & uncle restored an old truck, we would ask them when they thought it would be done. They would always say "It'll be ready for the fourth-of-July parade." They never said what year. ;)

Curtis, I can see myself stumbling off to bed at 3AM, & that was from just maintaining a "finished" race car. A few afternoon naps in my darkroom kept me going. I imagine that he didn't have any "Spare time" at all during those 4 months!
