Hi there - Today I received delivery of a used Sigma 70-200 2.8 EX DG HSM macro in immaculate condition from a reputable shop in the UK.

I unboxed it and attached to my Canon 60d and the Autofocus wont work. I have read up on the 7D issues, but I cant understand why my 2 year old 60d is the same...
Tbh, im absolutely gutted, as I spent ages researching the lens and performance etc, and now this happens.

Can anyone please shed some light on what to do and what steps to take next...

ps - I have checked the switch, reset camera settings, made sure the contacts are clean and the lens is attached correctly.

many thanks in advance

Don

Do you know for sure that the lens' AF is functioning? IE, have you tried the same lens on other bodies?
