Venus, Mercury, Saturn and Moon this morning

I went out in the freezing cold before sunrise this morning to catch this planetary conjunction, with a nice crescent moon.

To show what is where, I annotated it in this version.

Then I took a magnified shot of the moon itself with 100-400L + 1.4x extender; 560mm, f/10, 1/6s on 7D, and then cropped some more to show the detail.

wow, the clarity in those is amazing. thanks for that guide, other than the moon i wouldn't have any idea where they were. nice moon shot too.
