love the shot, but it's a bit washed out imo

Yea, I wanted to make sure the faces were exposed correct and sacrificed the dress blowing out. I tried to cut the highlights down to maintain some details in the dress but couldn't get much. Maybe I'll exposure for the dress next time and dodge the faces next time!

Beautiful shot! So much love in this photo.

Have you tried the adjusting the recovery while processing the raw file? That usually helps out a bit. You could also try playing with it in photoshop (Image > Adjustments > Shadows/Highlights) & modify the highlights then do a layer mask for just the parts of the dress that are blown out. :)

Yea, I tried the recovery in DPP. But when you try to recover too much, it starts to lose it's color and looks really weird. Yea, maybe I should have done two exposures and mask them.
