Was this at a store? Was the line really long, looks like it. Great shot. I like the little one on the bottom right scratching his nose. Says it all.

Yeah, great shot. I've been in this line before.

So do you just boldly take a candid people shot like this? Sometimes I feel a little strange taking a shots in a crowd (just shy I guess).

I find this shot works for a couple of reasons. The playfullness of the boys in the foreground speaks volumes ( trouble) but the blank looks ( almost despair) on the faces of the adults is priceless. Very nice!
