Took a week long vacation down to Grand Cayman last month at the Sunset House dive resort. I bought a new GoPro HD3 Silver before the trip for underwater video and photo, and figured I'd share some. Unfortunately, housings and flashes for my 7D are crazy expensive, so that wasn't an option.

Thanks for this, you just cost me some cash! I have been considering buying the new gopro to compliment my 7D & after seeing these I'm going to have to get one.

Are these individual shots or frames from the video?

great work btw.

Phil

I'm really jonesing for a housing for my 7D. The GoPro did well, but with no lights it made it difficult, plus even on "narrow" field of view, it was still too wide a lot of time

Thanks. I guess the eel hangs out at stingray city a lot so all the dive operators know it well.

Individual shots. I would recommend getting the black edition (I may still trade this one back in for a black edition), and the LCD backpack helps a ton.

Availability. The Black edition wasn't shipping till after I left for my trip. I got my Silver in time only because they had to rush ship it.
