for a wedding in the Rochester, NY area? Links would be helpful. It is not for me but a young friend of my daughter's. Her budget is tight (probably in the $1500 range), but will consider all. Thanks! :)

DOINK! Never noticed that section! I will post there -- thanks. And, yes, I saw his site, but probably too expensive for her. I prefer to get some recommendations here because not all good photographers show up on Google.

For that amount you can only get a part timer with barely any experience,but budget is budget and not everyone can have(or care enough) for good photographs. Same for venues and other stuff

Well, I'm getting a lot of contacts -- and they are GOOD. I know what you mean by investing in this, but this couple just doesn't have a lot of money and the $500 Craigslist types were contacting them and I thought I could find them someone, at least, better than that (and I have.) :)
