This is far from lens "PORN", this is more of a horror movie than anything...

Hope you get this all back in working order soon!

Maybe the 35L caught you looking at the Sigma 35, became insanely jealous, and leapt from your hand to an early demise?

I do have it insured and am also a CPS platinum member. So I overnighted it to Canon and it will probably be cheapest to just have Canon fix it, since I get 60% off as a Platinum member.

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

It's a good thing you have backups. What did you use in its place?

It was a simple post-wedding bridal. I shot the entire thing with my 85mm 1.2L II.

The Sigma honestly doesn't seduce me at all.

Sigma, fool me once, shame on you. Fool me 6 times, shame on me.
