Jan 05, 2006 08:48 | #34 I have the 50 1.4, 28-135 IS, Tamron 19-35 (which is a good lens), 28-105 and some others I haven't touched since I got my EOS 3. I have a Rebel G in a bag with those lenses in case one of my kids decide to take photography in school. I just gave away my 28-80 to my niece. She inherited a Rebel G from a cousin and had the small lens it came with. I've decided a long time ago that I must have USM because my eyes are not what they used to be and I like the faster focus. Jan 05, 2006 09:42 | #37 No joke! I was snapping away last night for family portraits and was really happy with the improvements. I think there is actually something wrong with my 10D lately and will take it to the shop. My 550EX was working well last night but none of my 10D pictures have been coming out well for months. I thought maybe it was the flash connection. With my 20D the flash was great. But I still love my 10D - It will be my other camera when I go on wedding shoots. I really need it. Hate switching lenses. Suzie - Still Speaking Canonese!

Jan 08, 2006 09:26 | #43 Yeah, I just looked at the pictures I took with my 10D the last 3 months and I think there is definitely something wrong with it. I may just default all my settings and see if it'll work. I've never had trouble with the 550EX on my 10D. I may just decide I need 2 flashes anyway since I have the 20D now and may need the 430EX or 580EX. I shoot wedding indoors more often than I'd like. Suzie - Still Speaking Canonese!
