I have one coming up in the next week so I'm trying to get some ideas. The house and the family are beautiful but there is not much room to back out to due to neighbors' walls. I'd guess maximum 15 feet if that. The house is a nice sized (2000-3000 sq ft?) 2 story house their grandfather built for them, so the focus is definitely on the house as much as the family. I have a T2i and a T3i. Thinking of using my 16-35L and 10-17 fisheye.
Thanks,
-Sue

I find it difficult to do these shots. Unless the house is really nice and isn't your typical 2 story box house, you might get something interesting. One of my tips is to get a shot of the house when the lighting on it is even. Don't do it when part of it is in direct sun and another is shaded. If possible, shoot when the sun is behind the house so the front is entirely shaded. Use some flash to make your subjects pop.
