buy wedding photog cam?

Im buyin an EOS 1D MK II from a wedding photographer. Condition is excellent with a little brassing on hot-shoe and a little wear on the grip. With about 54,000 clicks.

Anything I need to be aware of in regards to buyin a used 1d MKII? A used 1D MK II from a wedding photographer? Do they rape thier equipment?

Wedding photogs are generally nicer to their equipment than those poor souls that get knocked over every Sunday on the sidelines of American Football.

I wouldn't expect the camera to have been abused, as it is the money-maker for the photographer. Yes, it probably got bumped and nudged a bit, but I doubt if it got anything close to the kind of treatment that the 1D II is built to withstand.

In other words, you should be getting a good, solid, well-functioning camera.
