Wrestling with the whole dilemma of digital downloads.

I currently sell (or at times give away for promotional reasons, with my watermark in the corner) web-share size images. 640x480. Sometimes give this away with purchases over a minimum amount for the same image.

Good for internet use, FaceBook, web, etc.. Never anything higher resolution. Helps promote my business.

The question is: What if a customer needs a higher resolution digital image to use for print media. Letterheads, business cards, advertisement, etc... and isn't primarily interested in any prints? Often the print/advertisement vendors want the image uploaded.

Just charge a much higher price? Give a 1 time specific usage-license of the higher res digital image for a certain price?

What are others doing in these cases?

Web size = price A
Print size / high res = price B which is substantially higher than price A

Once you give them the print / high res size, the image is as good as gone and likely to be reprinted many times over (and possibly even re-distributed unless you educate your buyers appropriately)
